Service & Repairs: Diagnose faults and perform on-site repairs to ensure food processing equipment operates efficiently and effectively.
Customer Support: Provide technical advice and training to customers, helping them understand the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and maintenance activities, ensuring all documentation is completed promptly and shared with relevant teams.
Field-Based Support: Respond quickly to customer callouts across the South West, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations through timely and effective support.
Key Skills & Experience:

Technical Expertise: Experience working with food processing inspection equipment (X-rays, checkweighers, metal detectors) is highly desirable, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Electrical/Mechanical Skills: A strong foundation in electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems, with the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot technical problems in the field.
Field Service Experience: Experience in a similar field service role, particularly within the food processing or manufacturing sector, is advantageous.
Problem Solving: Capable of identifying and fixing issues under pressure while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Customer-Focused: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and deliver outstanding service.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel across South West England, with occasional overnight stays as required, and work flexible hours to meet customer needs.
Requirements:

NVQ/BTEC or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
Full UK driving licence (essential).
Strong technical problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to travel across South West England and beyond, with occasional overnight stays.
Benefits:

Competitive salary based on experience.
Company vehicle, tools, and equipment provided.
Opportunities for professional development and training.
Supportive team environment with a focus on continuous improvement.

If you are a proactive, technically skilled individual with a passion for delivering high-quality service, we'd love to hear from you!
