Role Overview:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the calibration, maintenance, and repair of scales used in various industries. This role involves traveling to different client sites, ensuring that all equipment meets the required standards of accuracy and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Calibrate and maintain a range of scales and weighing equipment at client sites.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Diagnose and repair faults on-site.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to clients.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues to management.
Requirements:
Basic understanding of electronics and mechanical systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
Full UK driving license is essential.
Willingness to travel extensively within the UK.
Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous, but not essential.
